Hifonics BXI2607D?

Post by Schmuck »

Does anybody have any experience with them? Do they do rated power? I have heard rumors, but no proof, about the earlier models not making rated power. How reliable and durable are they? I have never used Hifonics so I am a little curious, I am thinking about getting 2 of them.

yup. used them liked them. do rated power +

there are a bunch of guys running around bitching about hifonics when in actuality they really have no idea what they were doing and skewed test results.

all Maxxsonics amps are made with 2 gage. there isnt much of a diffrence between 2 gage and 0 gage size wise.

2 gauge, will they accept 1/0awg? And Bwcad1 did you do thorough testing? What type of power can I expect to see at 13v? loudwagon I talked to Maxxsonics earlier today and they say that it is a very very efficient amp, he said it was close to 90% efficiency, which is very high.

im assuming you talked to mike stiers?

hes my team captain.

my teammates did the testing. you will see about 2000-2400watts on 12v setup depending on impedance. and yes 1/0 fits.

any other experience with these amps? So far nothing but positive feedback, except a few that still judge the company for some of their products from years back. I am pretty excited to get these hooked up to my HD3's. Bwcad1, from your experience which way should I wire them, strapped or individally? Which way puts out better power, or does it matter?

i alway wire individually if possible = more power but if your not 100% confident you know what your doing strap them.
