Ok I took my car over to Best Buy and within 5 minutes BAM! the bass is back he said it was completely out of phase and PLEASE!! just turn the volume up and down and leave the radio the F*** alone.

I had them both checked yesterday battery and alt are fine. It's weird 1 day subs are hitting fine next day i can't turn the hu up past 30

Yesterday my subs weren't hitting the way the have been for months now they were still working but not as much bass.I took the speaker box out of my car and hooked them up to a regular home receiver and the sound was perfect. no fighting guys you are both right yes the Kenwood will work fine with the Y adapter and yes I just went ahead and upgraded that unit to a Pioneer and rewired everything and it sounds AMAZING!! Thank you both. Again there was no right or wrong except me taking a week to figure it out.
