cool, where at? I just found a MTX 18000D rated at 1,100w @ 2ohms for $200 that has been used for 2 months. I just e-mailed the guy to see if he still has it.

got any suggestions for a good amp in the price range of under $200 that will put out a good 750w @ 2ohms? Right now I am looking at a JBL BP-1200.1Z which puts out 1200w @ 2ohms. I am powing a 12" Kove armegeddon in a sealed box.

I guess I have just had bad luck, I have bought tons of stuff on the internet and the one refurb I bought crapped out 2 days after the warranty was up. Maybe it was just bad luck though. About those amps though, why do you like the Xtant over the Soundstream with an equal claimed wattage output?

I saw that amp yesterday, but I don't like to buy refurbished stuff. Thanks though.

I would like to learn more about these subs though because I always like to try new equipment. ...

Any comments on soundsplinter? One owner said that his new Soundsplinter was about par with his Brahma. Just wondering about them.
