well what ohm and voice coil do you recomend me getting for my amp since i will be wiring the 2 subs together

how much did you pay for yours?

I'm thinking about the DC 12inch level 3's. the specs seem to match up pretty well with my box. does anyone know how much they run and where I can purchase them?

I'm pretty sure the xplods were single 4ohm subs. And I understand what your sayin about the power, I just want somethin with a little more quality and "umph" than I think the hi-fi's will provide. I'll look into the DC's and I'll try and find somethin that will handle about 700-800 rms th...

i think the difference would be that I'm not using 2 channels I'm just using one

but ive been told by a pro installer that figured out my subs were blown that the watts wernt being split between the two subs and each sub was getting the same amout of power which in this case was 500rms. so each sub was getting 500rms each

ok thanks. one more question...the pioneer premier 2ohm dvc subs would work with my wiring and amp right?
