thanks for the info the subs r wired up in the way u said to but even with a set of punch 10's hooked to it transistor still blows must b a problem some where else on the board.thanks for all ur input if i have any future problems i'll be back.

thats what i told him 2 start with.sell it all and buy name brand.but its not my system.i'm running a kenwood head a 600w bazooka amp, 2 10" Alpine E's with a 5 dollar crossover. i havent had a bit of trouble with my set up.

no we had to soldier in a new transistor to the board

the first amp did the same thing. but was under warranty and has been sent back to the company.what would be the best amp for lol. volfenhag 12" subs.if the case is the crappy BOSS amp he has keeps frying transistors

How do I wire it so I get a 4 ohm final load? Boss audio told me the subs would run fine on this amp.but we hooked it back up and fried another transistor its only a 2 dollar fix. but, should we install a larger transistor to compensate for the thing burning up 2 min into play.this is the hardest in...

ok the boss amplifier is 1600w mosfet 2 channel and the speakers r both 4ohm.when we opened the speakerbox both sets of termials were hooked up. do we need to disconnect if so wich side?also the subs r dual voice coil does that mean anything?should we just hook up one sub.if so should we just hook u...

the subs hit for like three min on each amp before the smoke show

speakers aren't blown

a friend looked at the amp and thinks it can be repaired. we still haven't checked what ohms output the speakers are conneceted to.that might be the biggest problem.

what about the other end of the remote should it be hooked to the remote on the head unit.also what kind of amp will push those 400 pound paperweights.
