Sorry...
But if you wanna get really advanced without drilling... You can always take the front drivers side fender off and then run the wire through the body and back into the cab.

well way to be a buzz kill, it was crafty for me never having installed an amp on my own.
Besides, Ive got all my wires and cables anchored down away from all the hinges and pinch points

Actually I hate to break it to you... but that's really not a crafty trick at all... It's more the cheap and easy way of doing it and doesn't make for a very clean install... Also I have seen more than my share of peoples vehicles that do it that way that end up pinching the power wire in the door and either start having power problems or get start getting lil electrical pokes from their vehicle.
I'm not saying this to sound mean, just to be informative... Do it right the first time by drilling and save yourself some headaches down the road :)

Oh and the best place to drill is upper left drivers side under the dash... If you get under the car you'll see there is a ton of space right there on the firewall... Oh and one of the reasons you can't find an existing spot for a grommet to feed through is because Saturn put most of the wires through the fender and then back into the car.

i figured it out. I ended up going under the windshield and through the hinges in the door, feeding it through the rubber tubing and out into the seat and back into the trunk. You can see it where it comes out of the door, but its a pretty crafty trick : )

btw, loudwagon, you are thinking of another car.

Is there anything i should know before drilling? Like, where i should actually drill lol

alright sweet, thanks : )

if i can remember right there is a grommet that i easily fit some 4 awg through on the drivers side, just about where the carpet ends, but i could be thinking of another car

Yup... Drill is the only way to go on those... Although there is plenty of space on the lower firewall that you can drill through without coming near anything... still be careful though ;)

You can run it through the engine bay, under the car and up through an opening in the floor if that's an option. Otherwise, you're probably going to have to drill a hole and grommet it.

Im trying to get a power wire from the battery to the amp in the trunk of my '99 saturn sc1 and i can not seem to find a way through the firewall seperating the engine compartment from the rest of the car. Anyone have any ideas?
The car is a manual, so going through the hole where the clutch cable goes is a no-go : (
