Those hifonics amps are pretty nice. You will be really happy with it. Are you looking at doing 2 10's or just a single 10?? If you are going with 2 10's, get dual 1ohm coils and get the copper coils for both of them. If you are going with a single 10", get the dual 2ohm coil and the flatwind coil option. Either way, it will be loud. But the very very very most important thing is box design. So when you decide on getting these, figure out a good box and either make it yourself or there are a few guys on the forum who make boxes. Box is key if you want to get the most out of them.

pioneer mono 800w only 360rms.......but was reading an article on here and was thinking of upgrading to the hifonics brutus http://www.sonicelectronix.com/pictures.php?id=6522
thats the one i was looking at....would that go good with the Fi subs?
if not could you recommend one in that price range? well, under 300 anyway.

rms is stated as 800. The copper coil will aid in a bit of low end a bit in power handling and the flatwind coil will basically do a lot of aiding in power handling. The coil config you want solely depends on the amp you are using. You want to get the coil that will allow you to get most power out of the amp. So with that said, what amp do you have and what are its specs??

humm, i saw a kove amp a few days ago in some punks car. 2 channel wired to a 12'' audiobahn, and a 12'' solobaric in two different enclosures. This idiot was more than just your average idiot, even had a tiny motorcycle battery in the back to power it. Didnt get loud at all the way he had it.
