Right here, I can make one for you.

That design that Diamond calls out is nothing special, just a ported box. THe ports been folded so it fits though.

I can design and build one. It will be more than $80, but the box will also be better!

Price would be around $130-$160 depending on design and port used, if you want carpet or not, terminals...etc etc etc...

now would it make more sense to go with a 2 ohms or a 4 ohms with the new amp?

cause to tell you the truth the only difference i know of between 2 and 4 ohms is the way you can wire it.

EDIT: I saw some people recommending getting a custom enclosure... is there a place where i can order this? Diamond audio has these recommendations: [url]http://www.diamondaudio.com/products/pdfs/Single%2012%20in%20Vented%2005.pdf[/url] but there is no way i can make a box like that therefore i would need a custom enclosure.

EDIT#2: ok...if i got a prefab that is about 80 bucks (q-logic from best buy) is that going to be that bad... cause my only other option is going to wallmart and getting one of those glue it yourself models. i really know of no other place that i can get a custom enclosure.

I love companies who take the time to put the gains on top of the amp. Makes things much easier and its simple to do. One of the reasons I love my Viper.

one sub of good quality will always be better than 2 subs of mediocre quality. i run a single 15 in competiton in a ported box. as for someone telling you that you "NEED" thats in correct there is never a NEED for anyone certain type of box in my opinion its just what sounds better to you and if your aiming for sq or spl

audio, darthness, bwcad thanks a lot for the different choices of amps i do like them a lot and for the price they look reall nice and plenty of power it looks.

i have two question's before i start to buy anything...
1. is it worth my while getting two sub's...
2. which type of box should i buy...

the only problem i have with 15's is my car (camry) has limited high space in my trunk for the way i want to set my sub/subs up... what i think i'm going to do is fold down one of my seats and turn the sub around so the trunk and my cars air space is the same (reason for this is someone said i would need a ported box.... is this true?) if this isnt true what i will do is measure everything out. thanks for the sweet offer man
