Did it work? Makes sense to me. Maybe not nukes, but some sort of high yield explosive. lol

They should just drop some depth charges down there and blow it up ... burry it under itself. They're too worried about loosing the money the put into the drill efforts and retaping that pipe or whatever. Blow the shit up. Burry it. Done.

ive been wondering how it would affect gas prices too has the price of crude oil gone up?
wasnt this well unfinished so i doubt it not producing will put a strain on supply. bp and others up here have a habit of finding oil then capping it until its needed or they get the price they want or get the state to give them what they want.

i kinda doubt water temps caused from the oil slick are of much worry, i'd be more concerned about the pollution and rapidly dropping dissolved oxygen levels

by cool mr grinch » Mon May 31, 2010 9:50 am

not only the environmental impacts, but what is gonna happen under the sea bed after this disaster, and how is this going to affect fuel prices? will the oil in the gulf cause the gulf water temps to higher or lower?

Sounds like they're planning to drill a relief well if they're talking 7 months.

by MobileAudio219 » Sun May 30, 2010 11:42 pm

I really hope it doesn't take 7 months to stop this P.O.S from leaking.

Hurricane season is coming on fast and I could only imagine if a Katrina came though and flooded the coast with oil...

What a bunch of b.s!
