My truck will do a 100 easily, just not quickly!

I had a 91 with a built 4.3 and it would hit 100 pretty fast, but that truck was a beast.

Tried that a few years back with my 3.1 Camaro while driving through Montana. At the time it was legal during the daytime, I found the speed limiter at about 108 and the fuel stopped, resumed about 105. It has since been programmed higher, but haven't reached it since (I think I had it bumped to 130), and probably never will :p

My blazer was the 4.3 and it had a hard time chuggin up to 100

Ahh, good first vehicle.

Hopefully he learns a lesson and keeps racing on the track.

Hitting the local strip can be ton's of fun.

Just curious, what kind of car does the kid have?

by William from NOLA » Sat Nov 28, 2009 4:44 pm

Yea, you definitely did the right thing. There is no way he will have the experience for that. Tell him to go drive a track car for a few years before he does that.

If the kid gives you any lip, just look him dead in the eyes and say "I'm banging your sister!" It probably won't help smooth things over, but it'll be funny!

ROFL, LOL this is true. LMBO.

I was gonna save this one for that special occasion, but it would work here pretty well too.
