So a update is needed.....

I've got a pretty decent set up now. Great aftermarket parts and I'm having a blast. I recently hurt my back from riding and it's been hurting for a month now :(

I'm still runing the Haro X1 frame but I just recently invested in a Macneil Gary Young frame. When I'm all finished switching parts over from my Haro to the Macneil. I should have about a 24-26 pound street bike. I can't :)

Well, I ended up getting a Haro for cheap and it's not bad. I kinda liked my schwinn better. I tried to switch parts out but chouldn't :( So I put the schwinn bars on the haro. That was all I could do. When I get better at BMX I'll invest in good bike.

Not saying that the goose is bad or anything, I just like to ride something different.

lol, na, I wont buy a goose because it's too mainstream. My cousin and I are actually going to custom build one. I can't wait till it's all finished.

I would also stay way away from the Walmart Mongoose. Haro is the real deal if they are still in it. but if you do go to a shop and get a 'goose you will have a very nice bike.

I always wanted a 'goose but could never afford one, so if you get one think of me :happy055:

Ya, true about mongoose but I just can't stand riding a bike that can be bought in walmart. I know that they do make great bikes if you buy from a bike shop, but I got a bike from my cousin and I need to upgrade a few things. Craigslist here I come!

Mongoose still should be making good bikes as long as you don't buy the walmart ones.

Haro was still in the game 2 years ago. I hope they still are. I have a Haro Backtrail X1 that I need to buy a new tire tube for.

I mean doing tricks and freestyle. I think mongoose has gone walmart because i've seen a few of their bikes there.
