If neither remote is working you can check the amp by using a little pigtail from the amps remote to the power. I would just use this for checking the amp, as a long term solution it would just run your battery down as this way the amp will never shut off.

check the amps fuse, fuse in power line, snad that ground real well and if that doesnt work try another ground so that your sure it isnt the ground. make sure rem, ground, speaker wire and rcas are plugged in and working. as far as head unit problems i think certain problems occur towards certain brands and models so more info could be nice i guess. if the amp was working recently then id say its the ground, wiring or head unit... all should be a quick fix though.

Amp Power Issue

I'm letting my cousin use my old amp and it isnt getting any power.

We checked the ground and that is fine, the fuse isnt blown on anything, and the power cord seems to be fine.

There is 2 remote outputs coming out of the cd player, but none of those work.

What else is there to look for?

(The amp was just used on Friday, works perfect)
