Exactly, thats the nature of the beast. We have a different gov. structure then theirs. We make our decisions as a country, and they do theirs. Our priorities are different. We are interested in their labor. They are interested in their lifes. They choose to do things their way, and when we step into their house we must respect that. We can easily change our expectations as well. What it all comes down to is respect. They are not the only country, any country aside from the U.S will have drastic cultural differences from ours. We must accept and acknowledge it before visiting the country, otherwise we are subject to their laws as they are subject to ours.

hahha yea the gerbil lol hahaha... Yea Thats cool, i have a friend who has their bachelors in Film right now. He loves it. I think you will too. I was asking him about Bollywood yesterday and he said the same thing, but he was indifferent about Gere's situation... He is more of a darker side of film person

With all this media Gere is probably ecstatic, at least it takes the focus off of the whole gerbil rumor. Gere-bil. haha

You should get very drunk that day. The way I see it, it's one of your last chances to celebrate as a young adult, before you get a real job with a 9 to 5 and become an adult.

And I think it's ridiculous about RIchard Gere. They want to arrest him for kissing someone. I know there's more to it then that, but that's literally what happened. I don't know I might be a little bit stubborn.

Bollywood is the mainstream entertainment for the masses over there, so they take that stuff really serious I suppose. The actors/actresses make gobs of money -I'm talking like Tom Cruise cash and fame (in India that is). The movies are also all inexpensive to make, LONG (like 3.5 hours), and very simple being nearly formulaic.

Did I mention I'm getting my BA in film May 18th? lol
