Linda. She should be your rep too, I think she covers at least NW Ohio (which both of us are.) Do you actually have a physical shop over there? If so, where's it at and what's it called, I might stop by sometime.

We have an account through the same place :)

Speaking of which, who's your rep out there?

How about I buy a Massive amp from myself! haha, no...seriously though...I do carry them... :D
That's how I got my Cerwin-Vega so cheap!

But I'm not a donating member or registered as a vendor on this site, so don't buy from me anyone on this site, buy from cargodz. I'm not really into coming in and cutting in on people's sales.

I will definitely agree here with Cargodz, I had A Kenwood amp and smartly sold it to some idiot who had no clue what to do with it... It got really hot all the time and went into protection a good deal of it as well. They definitely dont like being ran at under 4 ohm. Kenwood used to make better amps, but now they just suck. Buy a Massive amp from Cargodz, they are a much better product

With improved technology electronics get smaller and lighter... I don't know if you've ever held a 20 year old laptop computer or not, but they weighed almost as much as a new PC. :)

Just make sure that if you do decide to go the route of Massive that you set the gain correctly... I'd hate to see another good amp die from that mistake, if you fry the Kenwood it would just be another Kenwood paperweight :p

well, now I'll really be looking into another amp, my C-V XL300.1 just took a crap on me...dunno why, but w/e...

But when I compared the Massive amp and the C-V amp before I got them, the Massive 500.1 seemed to be really light and small for a 500W amp...

Kenwood is much like Sony in that they both are riding their names on the higher end products that they use to produce.

kenwood kac1021/921/821 and the older kac1020/920/820 were freaking awesome but sadly, those days are over

Kenwood amps are cheap junk, IMO.

brownbob06 wrote:The subs I'm looking at getting (Massive) I can get in either dual 2 ohm or dual 4 ohm, so I can have a 1 or 2 ohm stable amp. I thought about a massive Class D mono amp, but I heard from someone that they blow pretty easy...is this true?
Thanks.
I don't know where you're getting your info on Massive amps, as they are actually awesome lil amps... I haven't had one come back yet and that is exactly the amps (Massive) I was thinking of when I said you could get better for the money.
Massive amps = :thumbsup
Kenwood amps = :(
