Luckily, my wife and I have some friends in the area, and I was raised an Okie until I moved to FL a few years back, so I at least know how to deal with snow & Ice. My wife was born in Honolulu and raised in New Orleans so she's the one who's going to have the most shock... :surprised
Thanks again!

Wow!!! I am an okie...born and raised, yet I am still here. Good to know that there is another former okie on the board. JeremyC, JoeyC, are the others...wait, I think Joey's brother Jason as well.

So where in Michigan are you moving to?? You say Detroit... but I doubt you are actually going to move in Detroit.... so i am assuming a city outside of Detroit??

Welcome to CAC bro, i'm sure you will like it here. And welcome to Michigan too ;) This weather sucks. When it snows i'm happy, but when its cold with no snow, i hate it.

Sorry to hear about your future move.

Welcome to the board. The weather up here in Michigan is definitely.......unique.

Welcome Kris... The snow isn't the bad part... it's the bitter cold that gets ya :p lol
Glad to have ya on board and i'm sure you'll enjoy your stay as we have quite a few older and more mature people here (but we do still like to goof around from time to time).
You'll have to hit some of us northerners up once you get up here as there is quite a few of us from the southern Michigan, Northern Ohio, and Indiana area ;)
