I think you should read up on them a lil more or talk to Bill about them. When Bill tested the 12" against a fully loaded 12" BTL... the ex was a little bit louder. And i know you know that BTL's are spl beasts.... so take that for what its worth. I bet 2 12" on 3000rms total would wang like none other. And Bill knows a real good box design for them to make them play beautifully and LOUD!!

If i remember correctly, that and if you dont have an execution dealer in your state its a good chance you can call and get a hell of a deal on them. They offered a 15 for 325 for more of an advertising purpose. I wish i had the money then i would have jumped on the idea!
Bill is a dealer and was selling them for the exact same price you listed. He wasnt just selling one, he was offering a special on the subs. $275 for a 12" and $325 for a 15".... and you can still get that price.... talk to Bill about it.

The ex's are right up your alley for the price of them!! That price is below dealer cost by the way. I second Mike's reccommendation of these subs, very very very excellent subs. They are loud and sound pretty darn good too.

I believe they're a lot like the old Adire shiva/tempest. My first "real" sub was a 15" tempest in a 4^3 box @24Hz. Sounded amazing, got low, and was pretty darn loud. I still have it in that box sitting in the garage and have offered it to a few local kids for $75, but since it's not Dual or some other BB sub they aren't interested. Their loss....

What about AA assassins or Mach5 audio?? Both are good budget subs that don't need a lot of power. I have 2 8" assassins in a ported box and they sound good and get pretty loud. 12's would be much better but GF didn't want to lose that much trunk space.
