NEVER have home depot cut it for you to size, i was a home depot manager for 6 years and those saws only get squared up a couple times a year

lol...

Its $20.99 here als Zero...

Get in early on Sunday, around 10 am. Thats when they look for damaged wood.

I got two sheets before for $12 a sheet. One had the corner knocked off and some stains, the other had a few gouges in it... Doesnt matter on the carpet side ;)

It's one of the cheapest wood products out there. I don't even think OSB is much less, and that's some real crap there! :p
OSB is another all over the place in regards to price.

It's been as high as $25 (or more) a sheet all the way down to $18. My dad is always telling me how much it is everytime he goes to home depot or Lowes. He waits for it to get down to the teens and buys a bunch. Just to have.. Never know when you might want to build a shed or something, he always says.

I'd suggest a setup like this:

Granted, that's some three-piece generic set - but I have a Dewalt one of these, and it's the box builder's best friend. It has a quick-release chuck, so you can drill a hole and countersink in one stroke, then quick-release, flip it around to the screwdriver bit, drive your screw, and then back again. It's really a huge timesaver.

And, generic or not, it looks identical to mine (probably made at the same factory), and it's as cheap as the single countersink bits that they sell at Home Depot. ;)

Yeah Price sucks during the winter... price of glue goes up.
Have Depot cut it to size for ya too... big time saver... you just have to cut the hole. :)
