I am just the opposite...sorta. I love to work on vehicles. Growing up, I can barely remember a time when there was not an engine chained to the a-frame, or sitting on the stand. Its natural for me now, if I don't have something mechanical to do, I go nuts, yet I have an office job WTF!! I don't get it.... My poor knuckles have led a very abused life thanks to my hobby.

I hate fixing cars... But love fixing them up. Confusing ain't it?!
The thing with me is I hate to have to fix something broke, so normally that's when I turn it in to an upgrade and then I don't feel so bad.

My rule is: If it ain't broke...You can still make it better :)

mmmm sounds like a good time, no seriously, it sounds fun.
My sway bar still looks solid, I need to replace my bushings like something serious. My truck just needs a full frame up, which will be coming as soon as I can afford another for daily driving. Once restore is complete, my truck will become a daily driver again.

I did that about 4 years ago to my pickup. Where did you get your parts? I got mine from autozone, and am not to happy witht them ( I got them from there cuz I got the "friend works there discount"). Wasn't too hard a job, like you said about 3 hours. I am glad I done it, I couldn't imagine trying to break some of those bolts over now. Unfortunately for me, new coil springs are in the works, and probably another pair of tie rods at the least.

Sounds sucky...

There are some things that I find Im highly capable of doing, others I wont even try...

Like Swapping a motor out. Ive done 2 this summer in 2 front wheenl drive GM cars.

Now Im having an issue in one with power steering leak. I looked at it, bought a part and farted around for about 1/2 hour and said hell with it, to a shop! lol
