Yea, I don't know why you'd make about 10 different types of class D amplifiers in multiple mono, 2, 4, 6 channels models and not be able to use them on full range speakers :)

Or it could mean they change the signal to digital, tweak it, and return it to analog before they amplify it.

Either way, thats why I asked the question.

Actually if you read the introduction to the DC Reference Line it tells you that the "DC" stands for "digital control" aka class D

Their reference line is class A/B, can't seem to find much on the DC Ref line.

autotek MM100.4/MM1000.1 would be tough to.

They don't come out and say its a class T, but the tech is about the same.

I don't know, thats a hard set up to beat.

i used to think that i would want a jl 300/2 and 1000/1 if anything ever happened to my current equipment. but now i may be leaning more towards these zapcos when im in the market for amps again...

the usb connectivity OR remote control for all the fine tuning is impressive as well

by solacedagony » Wed Sep 06, 2006 9:51 am

I'm surprised these things aren't as popular as some of the other amps seem to be.

"The big 6-channel runs about a grand and has all the processing. Just last year the same Zapco amplifier and processing power would have cost over $4,000.00."

thats awesome that they're making them alittle more affordable too

I don't see anywhere on their site that tells the class. I'll have to look around on Google later.
