Just bought a manual and some other random stuff for it from a guy. Thanks!

If you contact eclipse, then they can probably send you a pdf version of the manual.

Now I'm wrestling with finding out how to adjust the PEQ's Q value. The up and down adjust the level of boost/cut and it shows a number 6 for the bandwidth, can't figure out what it's referring to though.

Thats the loud button on mine.

by solacedagony » Fri Aug 04, 2006 8:39 am

Found it! Gotta press and hold the "Sound" button down. lol

by solacedagony » Fri Aug 04, 2006 6:21 am

Hmm, that didn't do it. The left knobs toggles Loud mode when you press it. Right knob only selects stuff. I'll have to keep trying stuff :-\

The switch in the middle of the right rotaty knob. Press and hold it for about 10 seconds. Thats how you do it on the 8455.

you can get a lense cleaning disk from radio crap or even walmart sells them... they are like $8 - $13 or something like that

Also, how do you enable pro mode on the 8454? I can't seem to figure out (without the manual) how to enable it. Can't set T/A, active crossovers, PEQ, etc. without it. I think it's basically the same as the 8455, just an older model.

Never knew there was such a thing :) Can you point me to where I could order one? I don't know why, but when I drove into work today, the MP3 CD that I was trying to get working started working. I'm going to have to see if that's just cause it was sitting overnight and as soon as I put another CD in it'll stop working or if it is actually working. I should get the lense cleaner anyway though.
