ice water good.....one time i was pouring resin into a glass box that i made to add some thickness to the inside and it slopped out the sub hole and went right into my shirt pocket and set my nip on fire.....not a good day when a couple minutes later my fat ass goes running through the shop tearing my shirt off screaming about my nip.......

brush resing where you are putting the fiberglass matt at and then brush on top of the matt

fiberglass

let me rephrase should i
a: do the compleate glassing and then do the filler eg http://www.the12volt.com/installbay/for ... 74519&PN=1 or
b: do i just do the first layer an then a layer of resin/filler mixed and brushed on

by smoker » Sat Jul 01, 2006 6:30 am

pour the resing in a mixing cup then add the resin

by churchbouy » Sat Jul 01, 2006 3:48 am

which is better mixing the filler with the resin or resin then filler

ok thanks
i also 4got the mdf 4 the rings and floor, i am going for a flush mount

by smoker » Fri Jun 30, 2006 5:50 pm

mdf for making rings to mount the speakers to

cups to mix resin in

sticks to stir resin

rubber gloves

sandpaper and lots of it

you probably dont need the fiberglass mat for this project just an old t-shirt and a couple or three coats or resin should do it....
