you're 17 and you know little about guns and you want to buy a 12ga?
Here's a suggestion:
spend the money on range lessons instead.
Become proficcient with a weapon before taking ownership and responsibility for one.
Taking a few safety and prof courses could save your life, or that of someone else.

I'm not being an ass here.. I used to be a range instructor. I know just how important it is to know what you're doing with a weapon in your hands. Take it from someone licensed to carry, and with expert marksman certifications from the NRA.

I like the reamington m870. But when use a shotgun I am kicking down a door and that gun works like a dream at close quaters so that would be my choice for stoping the guy taking the vcr I know nothing about hunting

great gun and can be had for a little over 300 with tons of options.

by Darthness » Mon Jun 26, 2006 8:43 am

yeah the nova's look pretty nic,e too.

by Bwcad1 » Mon Jun 26, 2006 8:33 am

binellies are extremly expensive because there italian made but second to none. i bet your looking at about 1500 for an m4. what do you think of the nova? it comes in tons of diffrent configurations.

well more importantly, if some junkie's in my house with a knife unplugging my VCR, will it handle that?

edit: the benelli m4 is looking real nice, what kind of price does that come with?

geese ducks pheasants pretty much any flying bird. if you get a slug barrel you can shoot deer and other bigger animals. shot gun isnt fun shooting at a paper target. they are alot of fun shooting clays. if you shoot some 3 1/2 mag shells like OO buck or a slug itll about break your shoulder if your not ready for it so make sure you work up to the bigger shells.

i'm not sure about hunting yet.....at first probably just a shooting range. depends, what do you suppose i could take down with a decent pump?

dont spend the money on the glock get a ruger p90 one of the best guns in the world right now. as far as the shot gun mossberg inst the best brand but not the worst there kind of like the profile of guns gets the job done and is cheap. but you can get a brand new binelli nova pump for 3 bills and is one of the best pump shotguns in the price range plus its a binelli and thats a great name.
