help me pick out

Post by Darthness »

a shot gun. kind of thinking about starting to save up some money for my 18th birthday present to myself. I don't know much about gun, but i kind of want something thats giong to be black/chromeish looking (or polished). don't want camo, or just a plain brown one. price up to around $600 new or used. i love these mossberg pumps for some reason. i'd love somethig like one of these.

also, whats a nice pistol to look at? not looking for a revolver... same deal, all black. kinda liking the glock 17/19/22, colt 45.

just kinda brewing up ideas in my head here. i'm not really gun-smart (as in don't know a whole lot about them). I have shot a pistol before, not sure what kind it was though. i was like 13 years old at target range, which is where i'd use my future gun purchase

Im not really a gun person, but everybody else in my family is... My cousin probably owns 20 + guns... All he ever does is go hunting and fishing... I'd rather look at hot chicks that find me replusive, usually after they walk by and are out of ear shot I'll make a sexest comment or two though.... :happy055:

so are you going to use it for hunting or what? if your going to use it for hunting you want a longer barrel because the BBs will spread to fast and to far with a small barrel like that. i have a mossberg 500 that i bought used for 500 and have shot well over 300 shells through it with no problem.

glock for sure. mossberg 12 ga. pump is a good gun. i pick one up at academy sports for a couple hundred bucks on sale. you can get a used shotgun and save some money for a glock. good luck. picking the right gun is alway hard.

dont spend the money on the glock get a ruger p90 one of the best guns in the world right now. as far as the shot gun mossberg inst the best brand but not the worst there kind of like the profile of guns gets the job done and is cheap. but you can get a brand new binelli nova pump for 3 bills and is one of the best pump shotguns in the price range plus its a binelli and thats a great name.

geese ducks pheasants pretty much any flying bird. if you get a slug barrel you can shoot deer and other bigger animals. shot gun isnt fun shooting at a paper target. they are alot of fun shooting clays. if you shoot some 3 1/2 mag shells like OO buck or a slug itll about break your shoulder if your not ready for it so make sure you work up to the bigger shells.

well more importantly, if some junkie's in my house with a knife unplugging my VCR, will it handle that?

edit: the benelli m4 is looking real nice, what kind of price does that come with?
