today i installed my brand new HU (
http://www.cardomain.com/item/JVCKDAR760 ) it has a seperate RCA cable for the sub, so i connected the cables through that. when i started to listen to it, the sub was barley even on at all (speakers are fine!), so i adjusted the gain on it... i could go all the way up and still no diffrence. i could blast the volume and still a very low volume in comparison to what it was.
before i had the RCA cable connected i used a signal converter. it was 1000 times better than what i have going right now.
Note: i'm not sure if the preamp outputs for the sub are 5V but i do know that the front and rear outputs are 5V
humm a bit of a diffrent question... should my remote wire be on the side with my RCA cable or power cables or does it not matter much.
