Since you've got some time before you get the speakers, you should check out some of the ideas here:

Thanks lots i think im gonna go with the Adires cause for my install they will work absolutely perfectly and im definitely lacking that mid-bass right now, Probably wont install untill next year though because of College and my truck not being up there with me.

Price range is around $180 a pair for either, actually I think the Extremis is a bit cheaper. Call RE and check their prices, look at Adire on http://www.acoustic-visions.com

The Adire will work well in a variety of enclosures, don't fret when you see that the Extremis is an 8 ohm driver, it is actually very efficient and almost exactly as efficient as the XXX mid even though it's a 2 ohm driver.

i think ill go with the RE's unless the Adires are cheaper but better.

Only problem with the XXX mids, the motor is weak. BL is 3.63, not all that great for a 6.5" midbass driver, especially a high performance one. Low BLs equate to less cone control, but that isn't always a negative factor as it determines the type of enclosure to use as well. IMO A driver of that nature should have a BL of 8-9. If I were looking for a mid of that caliber, I'd get an Adire Audio Extremis. Same price range, BTW.

I was quoted for $165 shipped on the RE series comp set. The XXX mids, which are suppose to be absolutely excellent mid bass drivers run around $300..maybe a bit more. Definitely worth it though from what i've heard if ya got the money to spend.

Just raw drivers? Look into Morel. Great stuff. The ones you've mentioned above are also very good, it just boils down to personal preference.

Ok if not i did Email them so im sure i will get an email soon on that... and those should handle alot of power im guessing if they do stay true to all of the other RE products
