I'd go with a pair of RE 8's or the old Sundown e8's even though people have claimed to have problems with them. Or you could run a Critical Mass SS102 those are pretty sick.

I have Kicker 8" subs in separate homemade enclosures behind each front seat in my Sunfire and have been very pleased over the last 2 years. The closed fiberglass enclosures are maybe only 0.5 cu. ft., too. I get nice quality and get them to sing with some Cream, Rush, Zeppelin. And the subs are only like $55 each. I push them with a cheap Kenwood 7201 150Wx2.

We fixed that by adding a simple question. with a few choices for answers, try that.

Yes yet another spammer.

To comfort a "few" people we turned back on registration with gmail and yahoo emails. Since then we have TONS of spammers sign up constantly.

IB sub drivers soon. Hmmm.
Still, for music, in my midsize room, and to 300 hz, Augies are good.
Nice to see things are always cookin.

Here's about what I want the enclosure and amp rack to look like.

Image

The sub behind the passenger seat, external port coming out towards the drivers side.

The amp ramp covers up the port (making it look internal), the C's are the cross overs, and the P is the port.

I'll have to get some measurements and start the actual design process.
