OK... SOOOOO sorry its been a while since the update...

The poly/ply is up and over the studs and some areas and under in most... I did two layers in the areas that there was over/unders to be safe...

Now on to the fun part... I have all the lighting minus one possible light in the corner that I need to move... all up wired and connected to the panel! YAY Hard stuff is out of the way!

All that needs to be done are the following:

1. Move said light
2. Wire an outlet in bar area for Chest freezer and Computer.
3. Possibly wire up an additional directional light for a proposed Dart throwing area.
4. Box in pillars with poplar wood. and stain.
5. Sheet rock the walls and ceiling.
6. Moulding
7. Paint the floor with Epoxy garage floor paint.
8. Paint the walls and trim...
9. Drink a beer/throw a party.

Pictures to be put on tonight of the progress.

Oh yea and I ordered my new bulb for the projector so that should be coming in by the end of this week (hopefully) so pictures of that set up will be coming shortly as well.

Exactly why I'll be getting that Poly Ply roll tonight and probably start sealing... I plan on Drywalling a little bit this weekend and also trying to get rid of the garbage that I have in the area... I also need to go to the dump and get rid of all the extra crap that I have in the basement... Old Sub boxes need to go big time... wish I could sell them but really they arent worth anything.

He said just get some poly-ply and stick what I can behind the wall and then any areas that can't get behind them just cut to size of the opening and seal up with silicon... He said its really important that no moisture gets into the Fiberglass Insulation... So I'm goign to try that with the wall side... I'll definitely have to get a picture of that up when I do that this weekend.
If it gets in the insulation you will be getting very sick from mold spores

Im talking about the ones one the floor (sill plate) the ones against the wall will probably be fine.

Here's the kicker on that on Bill... I have a sh*t-ton of pt 2x6 boards in my garage left over from my deck build... I was considering ripping them all to 2x4's but didnt want to have to deal with it so I just went out and purchased the regular 2x4 studs... If worse comes to worse I can lay vapor barrier behind most of the studs and then in the areas that will not have electrical outlets in them... I Still need to go out and get a ton of Insulation...

I really don't have a damp basement though so I think I'll be ok...

Yea thats bad news... Should atleast have a vapor barrier under the 2x4's or use pressure treated :(

Oh and Bill, I've determined that I will not be putting down a laminate floor in that area... Instead, I am going to get a bucket of that Garage Epoxy paint with the speckles in it paint that down on it. Its the color that I really want... plus I have a new layout idea that i will be working with... I want the poker table to be able to fit in the bar area as well.
