Charges dropped.

I don't think that would get you off the hook. I am sure you have some responsibility to secure your internet connection. It would be similar to leaving a loaded weapon unsecured.

The music industry stopped going after individuals august of last year. They are now trying to shut it down at the source, like pirate bay. But for every one they shut down 2more start. I haven't heard of the movie industry going after anyone yet.

I do all my downloading through a wireless connection. I have no idea whose it is and I don't want to know. I just download with utorrent. It only goes 140 kbs but its free.

Needless to say that log would be hard to refute, so no more Limewire for my kids. I personally use Easynews here at the office, due to the fact we have a 20Mb connection.

i heard that illegal downloading is getting so out of hand that they are planning on charging for internet by useage, not a flat rate, and that now they havnt been persuing illegal music downloads anymore because of it. anyone heard anything about this?

Thats something else I like about giganews. For 5 bucks more a month I get 10 more connections and encrypted download, so they can't tell what i'm downloading.

usenet is faster
for torrents i use a vpn and that slows it down even more than it already is
sometimes its really fast but usually its slower
been trying to get dias de nietzsche em turim for a while using utorrent no seeds only dht its been 2 weeks im at 74% normally i can have a movie in 12-15 minutes oh well ill wait might even buy it

ive read that down in the states allot of isps are doing bandwidth throttling on torrents and blocking usenet access
