Well other than power wire, they tried to use a crossover to integrate the amps into the factory system off the factory amp. They had a 2 channel powering all 4 speakers and while the rears were 4 ohm, the fronts were 8 ohm mids. They ran new wire up to the doors, but then cut it short and spliced it to the factory wire in the door to all the speakers. The ground was 4 gauge, but they ran it from one amp to the next and then to a body ground. Behind the radio it looked like they attempted to integrate there, but then didn't and just twisted the wire back and taped it. RCAs were daisy chained from one amp to the next rather than running separate for sub amp and speaker amp. and then a few other misc odds and ends that loose. What a nightmare.
As for the shop complaints, yeah it's a cluttered mess and I would have liked to had him on the nicer side, but the R/T was apart in there, so his vehicle ended up on the side where I normally do fabrications with all of the left over junk from my wifes last garage sale.
Yes it was very cold, but like I said the guy picked the coldest days of this winter to come out when we had -10 to -20 below temps with wind chills down to -40 and my lil salamander and electric heater still kept it at about 40 above in there, but I had to go through 3 tanks of propane for 2 days and you can imagine the electric bill that month after that.
Also as stated very difficult to try and work with someone carrying on conversation. He was nice and helped pay for pizza the first time out (cause he was hungry), again try getting anything done while eating (since he's standing there saying "Aren't you gonna eat?"). I was also under the assumption that he was going to drop off the vehicle as everybody else does, but obviously he didn't... And I should also point out that I even volunteered my Monte Carlo for him to use the first time out to go see a movie, get something to eat, or whatever to kill time, but again obviously he didn't.
Well I'm still in the midst of moving and my house is nearly vacant (pretty much only a bed, the microwave, and fridge), but I still have the garage to to go and then cleanup to try and get our deposit back and I have no internet at the new house yet so I probably still won't be around much for the next couple weeks till we get everything done, but I'll try and be less of a stranger when I get time (what little of that there is

).
Oh and you know it's actually kinda funny that Bill would be the one to start this thread, as this guy was from Youngstown (not to far from Bill) and I tried to talk him into taking it to him for the install to begin with, but he wanted to come out here and I ended up trying to be the nice guy since this guy said he had little cash for the install and couldn't afford what Bill I'm sure would've charged. Guess you dodged a really BIG bullet on this one Bill... And I guess I'm done being a nice guy on helping people that act like poor lil lost sheep on installs, cause it would seem that every time I'm the "Nice guy" it turns around and bites me in the ass one way or another.
Oh and I should add... I never did take my wife to dinner to make up for all this since we still had to work that afternoon and I had to go replace my daughter's battery that night and she's still reminding me how bad her birthday was
