If you look on the CA&E website they still have a link to subscribe to the mag. It may not be gone just not being sold in to many stores now.http://www.caraudiomag.com/features/index.html

Yeah i remeber it too. I never bought it much, but when i did I liked the installs and review they offered.

Auto sound and security was another one I liked pretty well.

They did have a lot of advertisements in the mag itself. But I thought they did a pretty fair job of evaluation. I mostly liked the vehicles they featured. But like Chris it was before the internet was around, so I didn't have a whole lot of options that way. I also liked the tricks of the trade in the later issues. Steve Brown of Alpine did alot of those along with Zee Sadiqqi.

Ahh well

It was an alright magazine but they had one huge problem.

Look back/think back...

All those advertisements... Boss, Lanzar, Pyraimd, DHD Power Cruiser, etc... THey were the one paying for ads. They they would test their equipment for a review... I cant say Ive ever read/seen 1 review where they gave the product a 100% fair examination...

oh wow, never knew they were gone.
When I first got into car audio, I used to buy those magazines all the time, but that was before the internet was around.
