Haha, funny you mentioned that...

He decided he was going to pull it in his garage with a dirt floor and no heat, it took him a little over a hour to pull the front/rear driveshaft and a skid plate, would of took 10 mins in the shop with tools and heat... Then he decided it was too cold, so he was going to wait for it to warm up before he messed with it anymore..

I'm over it now. I think we (my cousin and I) agreed to disagree on this one!!!

lol, I was just making sure it wasnt completely outta line on this one...

Edit: I dont want it to sound like I'm bashing my cousin or anything.. Like I said, we've helped EACH OTHER out alot, and we get along really good for the most part... It's just I think he's wrong in this particular case...

And it's not that I dont like Chris, its just I don't really care for him, lol... When my cousin moved him in (and my cousin brother), it was getting us in trouble with our land lord, and niether were helping with the bills, which I thought was BS, so I moved out...

Turns out he's not a bad guy, he just had a hard life (his parents arent right and I guess it rubbed off lol) I'm actually liking him more and more...

First, at $25 bucks a DAY usage... Not a lot at all when you're talking electric, heat, tools, etc... Most shops have a sign that state if you leave a vehicle there over 48 hours (after they've worked on it... keep in mind you're already having to pay them) that they can charge you $20 bucks a day just for storage.

Second, Maybe have a sit down with your cuz and explain to him just cause it was your uncles name on the title that it was a deal between the 2 of you and he was fair warned and even given a replacement motor with the deal and if don't like it maybe he should get the money from his room mate to pay your uncle since he loaned him his truck... When he says "I'm not gonna do that, I was doing him a favor." (you know he will), then tell him imagine how my uncle feels since he was doing you a favor at only $25 bucks a day and you're pissy with him about a deal you think went bad that didn't even include him.

I guess in the end $25 a day isnt exactly costly anyhow.
:D
To be perfectly honest I called my uncle and told him we were coming out, and that we'd give him something for shop use... He usually ask for 10 dollars to help out with wood, floor dry, ect... But when my cousin called Chris (the kid that my cousin moved in, resulting in me moving out) I told my cousin it'd be 25 bucks a day... Then I told my uncle we were giving him 25 bucks a day!

"it's not a f*ckin party" huh?

He gave my uncle 20 bucks and said he'd be out in a few weeks to pay the rest, my uncle doesnt even care, and wasnt expecting more, which is good because my cousin doesnt intend on paying him...

On a side note, it cost 20 bucks to refill the salamander heater because my cousin was to lazy to build a fire... it runs off kerosene which is still way up in price...

Just a guess.
But ya its kind of shitty. Then again having to pay family to rent a garage seems shitty also. I can understand paying for his own heat though.
Like I said, my uncle has a mortage that has to be paid. Ever since he closed the shop down he hasnt been working (obviously.)

The only time he ever talks tp my uncle (his 2nd cousin) is if he needs to use the trailer, ride his quad, use the shop, or needs a part...

He was invited to the christmas party out there, a no show...

Theres alot that goes along with the shop use...

Floor dry (which we used alot of), buffing disc to clean surfaces, vaccum lines, hose clamps, thermostat gasket, wood, electric ect, ect...

Not to mention my uncle doesnt like it when we bring people out there that he doesnt know, because when my cousin brought her boyfriend out there a bunch of tools came up missing...

Were not talking about throw away tools, we're talking about snap on, S/k, craftman, ect... not exactly cheap!

Now he knows my uncle don't like us bring people out there that he doesnt know, because like I said, tools have come up messing before... But when we were hooking the truck up to tow it out there, he calls his roommate and told him to come out... When I told him that my uncle doesnt like people out there he doesnt know, he replies "it's not like were having a f*ckin party."

Now I dont think chris would steal anything, but all he did do was standing in the way, or sleeping inside the truck...

If my cousin didnt come into the whole situation with a pissy attitude things would of played out much better from him...

Respect goes along ways...

3: he's young and thus a dumbass about caring for a car as a given, based on the law of averages.

I'm not accusing you here, I'm just offering some wisdom garnered by age and experience.

Now fallow above advice and beat his ass. haha
We buy and sell each other vehicles on a semi regular basis, this is the first issue we've ever really had...

It's not a big issue, it's just dont understand why he thinks he shouldnt have to pay for shop/tool/wood useage... He's used the shop many times and never paid a dime, but while my uncles down a little money really helps out...

It'd be a different stop if my cousin went out and helped cut wood, or just stop by and visit, but the only time he goes out there is to ride his quad or to use the garage...

IDK, it just seems selfish...

I actually owe him a good punch to the face, I might have to cash in on that...
