Use a dist. block to drop it down to 4 gauge just before the amp????? :bigwink:

is there any reason hifonics amps have 2 gauge connections, being that 2 guage wire isnt exactly the most common

a 1606 is different than a 2000. and i believe those terminals are 2 gage no 4 gage. which should suffice however im a firm believer in overbuilding. my Mbquart has 4gage terminals and i have 0 gage wire ran into it.

Well im guessing the amps messed at this point...

Send it in for repair and upgrade wiring to 1/0.

Plus 100amp fuse probably isnt enough anyhow...
