Yeah, I did the same experiment with the same results. Though, I have heard it does not always work. I too change my oil religously with a good filter and a good synthetic oil. What brand of oil and filter do you guys perfer? I'm just wondering I like Castrol synthetic and WIX/NAPA Gold filter.
