Couple of mine... Add some of yours.

Cheese Crisp: Whats needed? flour tortilla shells, mild shreaded cheese, shreaded ham or your choose of meat, butter.

Coat bottom of skillet with butter, sprinkle cheese lightly over 1/2 of the tortilla shell (too much cheese wont melt), followed by a light layer of shreaded meat. Now fold tortilla shell in half. Brown on each side over medium heat... :happy055:

BBQ Baked Potato Platter: What's Needed? Large bake potato's, bbq pulled pork (we use lloyds bbq pork), bacon bits (the soft kind), bbq baked beans, sour cream, shreadded cheese.

Bake the potato at around 400 degrees for around 30 mins??? Once the potatos are done, prepare the meat (we micowave it, following llyods recommendations) and the bbq beans (once again, read the can for directions.)

Slice the potato in half, fill half the potato with baked beans, the other half with the pork, dont be afraid to overfill... Now but on the bacon bits, shreadded cheese and sour cream... Prepare to make your O face...

ill give ya one that i think has worked well at parties:

Mexican dip:

1 Can of "no-beans" chili Hormel
1. 16 oz stick of Cream cheese
2. 1 Bag or more if you like cheese of 4 cheese mexican blend or whatever you have on hand...

Take a pyrex dish and coat the bottom of it evenly with the stick of Cream cheese then pour the chili over it and then top with the cheese... stick in the oven at 350 degrees untill it bubbles and then let it cool a bit and dip some chips in it and have a good time!

Corn Pudding:

1 box jiffy cornbread mix
1 can cream corn
1 can whole corn (juice and all)
1/2 stick butter, the real stuff!
1/4-1/2 cup cugar
small container of sour cream

350 uncovered until golden brown

Homemade Spaghetti Sauce

1 16Oz Hunts Tomato Sauce- HUNTS only
1 small can of Tomato paste, prefer Contanida Italian
1 Lb Ground Beef or meatballs
1/2 cup onion chopped
4-6 bay leaves, remove before serving!
Oregano to taste

This sauce is very very very very good. Its cheaper than a premium can of sauce and is better too. If your a plain old Prego/Ragu person prepare your taste buds for excellence!

I also enjoy making my own Pizzas. Ive found that one of them Pizza Pizzaz specialyty pizza ovens is the shit. I use Jiffy crust mix (its $0.65 a crust...) and Delgrossi sauce (Giant Eagle carries it), and of course, a mixed Italian Cheese. These pizza's are very good. Save $5-10 and make them yourself!

hey I got one.

Hamburger dip,

1 block of velveta cheese( or if you are like us the Wal-Mart brand works just as well)
1 pound of sausage
1 pound of hamburger
1 can of rotel tomatoes

Fry your sausage and hamburger drain the grease off
put the rotel tomatoes in and throw in the cheese
let it all melt together on a low heat.
Serve with tortilla chips (the big round ones work best)
MMM,MMM, GOOD.

LMAO you guys suck. I have been eating Durka Durka food (turkish) for the last 3 weeks, and I am SO burnt out on it.

What I wouldn't give for a big thick steak right now.

I guess there is good news. No TAD (Turkish ass disease) for me this time. I guess my stomach has grown immune.

My cousin and I are roomates, niether really like cooking, so I figured a thread like this might help us out with some good recipes for the times we do actually cook.

Here my favorite, but its a little strange so probably not many will try it!

What you need: cottage cheese, shreaded cheese, salad ham or turkey (shreadded), sunflour seeds (with no shells obviously), mac n cheese, pepperoni's (pepperoni's are opinional)

Take 2 cups of cold cottage cheese, 1 cup of warm/hot mac and cheese, 1 cup of salad ham/turkey, 1/2 cup of sunflower seeds, 3/4 cup of shreadded cheese, 10 or so pepperoni's...

Mix in large bowl and serve right away...

Somebody has to try this and post up, even if they dont like it... :happy055:

My recipe for Thai Tacos:

2 Chicken Breasts or Blackened Tofu or both
Flour/Corn Tortillas or lettuce
Bean Sprouts
1 Cucumber
Chili Sauce (thai kitchen brand works well)
Peanuts/Cashews
Shredded Carrots
Shredded Cabbage

In 1 pan cook chicken/tofu adding cumin, ginger, garlic as desired with olive oil.
In another pan Cook a mix of shredded Carrots and Cabbage - keep some uncooked shredded cabbage and carrats for later. Also add cumin, ginger, garlic as desired, I personally throw some Sriracha chili sauce in as well.
Peel, slice and quarter the cucumber
Crush up the peanuts or cashews
Heat tortillas in microwave or oven so they fold easier.

I usually then leave the stuff in a bowl for everyone to make there own Thai taco.

Use a tortilla or lettuce, add the ingredients you created and roll up.
-Cooked Chicken/Tofu
-Cucumber
-Cooked Carrots/Cabbage
-Uncooked carrots/cabbage
-Crushed peanuts
-Bean Sprouts
-Thai Chili sauce/peanut sauce or whatever you want.

Oh yeah I gots another one: This one is so super simple it don't even get points.

what's needed

1 package of hot dogs
some kind of chili (whatever brand you like)
and onions

Cook 3-4 hot dogs, while the dogs are cooking,
heat the chili and dice the onion.

go ahead and put the chili and onions in a bowl and
slice the dogs in bite size pieces.

Throw it all in a bowl and mix it up a bit with your favorite eating utensil

Enjoy,
