I am looking at getting 2 new 12" subs i think i have narrowed it down to two. the kicker cvx or the pioneer championship series. They are a bit different the kicker is 750 rms and the pioneer says 1000 i have never heard or seen the pioneer so idk if 1000w is true. So if anyone has any expierence with either one, or if you recommend something else.

Yeah that 1000 watt rating for the pioneer is a max, unless your talking about the championship series pro.

Do you all ready have an amp, or do you still need to pick one out?

Personally I have always liked kickers round subs, so I would lean toward the kickers. But its really going to come down to what will work best with the rest of your set up.

i have a 1606d brutus from hifonics 1600rms at 1 ohm

the pioneer is only 800rms http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=18353

my first subs were the kicker comps and i liked them so i might just go back...

another possibility for subs, which are just a little more than those pioneers but are much better subs are fi ssd's https://ssl.perfora.net/www.ficaraudio.com/sess/utn;jsessionid=1548276a2c86c05/shopdata/0030_SSD/product_overview.shopscript
