What downloaders are still out there that work and are worthwhile?
I went to oldversion.com and tried everything. Down to limewire and Bear Share. All thats on them seems to be porn and viruses.

I use newsbin and giganews. It takes a few days to get used to how it works, but its a great little setup.
Giganews is the server I download from. Basically people upload shows, or whatever, the server checks it for virus, and then post it for people to download.
Newsbin is the program that does the search, and puts the rar files together once a download is complete. The cool thing, with DSL 3000 it only takes about 20 min to download an hour long avi.

LOL well I wasn't going to say it, but those are out there too. Tons of them.
But if all your looking for is a few programs, it might not be the best way for you. There is a monthly fee depending on how much you download. I pay 12 bucks a month for 25 gigs. The unlimited is like 24 bucks. I think the lowest is like 9 bucks for 5 gigs.
