Why would they even want you to go to such a place
You would surely go insane
Would have to be Big lottery type money to make anyone even think about it.

this place is almost at the end of the aleutian chain

thanks to this place weve caught 2 russian jets flying in our airspace in the last month
if i go ill be doing my radiography thing as well as weld inspection ill also be doing whatever else they assign me to and allot of nothing from what i hear
i dont know how long theyll want me to stay
im good for about 9 weeks thats the longest ive worked in a remote area before i woke up and got a plane to come get me
i did 4 months out on a boat but thats different wed all tie up and have parties or go to and island for a few days here and there also fishing is fun

Yep, warming up here too. Not quite shorts weather yet but gettin' there. Don't you Alaskans walk around in t-shirts all year 'round? lol.

I'm all for exploring, but not exploring a vast nothing, lol.
Coleman I'm guessing from the start you've had an instinct, I'd follow your initial instinct. Don't go unless you were 100% gung-ho for it from the start.
