well i just got back from using the termlab.. lil easier than i thought.. these are the scores i hit with out any tunin,, but i think its basically where it should be,, may need a lil more tunin.. my box is peaking at about 37 to 39 HZ.
the 146 had very lil clip to it.. this was in the dash with windows up.

if your in a durango the cabin peak is around 52. try playing higher frequencies and don't play sweeps. if your still playing box frequency there is plenty more to gain.

for instance my Buick the box is tuned to 32ish. at 32 it burps a 153.3 however the car likes 50-55 where it burps 154-155.5 9/10 times the cabin will be louder.

also how was the car setup? was it sealed up? all windows and doors closed? door open? were you inside? what was you seat positioning. all these factors coming in to play. my blazer gained .7db when i pushed on the right rear window folded the seats all the way forward and put the visors down.

all in all a 147 ain't bad and i see plenty of room for improvement. i could sit here and list probably 50 things for you to change and modify and maybe gain you as much as 3db just as it sits.

No kidding man, way to go. Work on it a lil and you'll be in the 50's no problem.

op don't take offense to this its not directly aimed at you... but y do people think a 150 is easy these days? seriously everyone just assumes that a 15 is easy as cake i dont get it.

Very true... It took a lot of testing and tuning to get the Buick to a 150 with a wall of 4) 15"s... The 150 mark for many is still that mountain that although easy to climp the foothills, get's much harder when getting towards the peak... A 149.7 all day long on a TL still isn't a 150.
