How's it goin everyone, just thought I would share my afternoon experience, and hope that all men are not cursed by some of the stupid things women do...
Story time:
I took my Trailblazer to Ed Schmidt to get my power steering pump fixed, everything went great, dropped it off yesterday, called me to pick it up today.
So I call my g/f around 3:15 and told her to come pick me up. 3:45 rolls around and she gets to me work (now I only have until 5 to get my Trailblazer and be back to work) so i have about an hour and 15 mins, which I think is plenty of time. It takes about 15 minutes to get to the dealer takin the express way, so we get off and are comming up to a light. She starts to slow down and says "F***." I think to myself that it coudlnt be that bad, so I start to ask her whats wrong, now there is no need for her to reply as I realize her car has stopped running, she's out of gas...... so we basically roll as far as possible and that just barely got us to the turn lane and correct me if im wrong, but under normal I'm out of gas circumstances, you do not pull into the LEFT turn lane...... Why she did this i do not know. So now I am stuck pushing her car by myself and everyone behind us is just watching me, no bother to help. I guess it wasnt too bad, she has a little 04 Saturn Ion. but there is now a second obsticle, instead of pulling into the first nice and leveled drive she finds, she pulls into the second one, which is of course on a morderately steep slope. Ok, a good 25 minutes has been wasted, but now I have to walk to a gas station and get her gas, that I have to pay for because she forgot her purse. At least she walked with me, but as soon as we got back she decides to go sit in the car, while I get to sit there in -10 degree freakin weather... After that was good to go, we get to the dealer and the only guy available to help me get my Trailblazer back decides to sit on the phone and argue with his wife for another 15 minutes before I ask him to give me my keys so i can get back to work. I thought the fun had stopped there, but of course not. I get back to work and my boss's boss is standing at the receptionist desk and asks me where I have been. Apparently the other guy here forgot to mention to him I had gone to pick up the Trailblazer and meerly said "oh, uh I dunno." And of course it is 5:15 when i get back.
When the needle reaches "E" it does not stand for Enough.....
