Dell Desktop or Laptop?

Im buying a new computer!

I have upto $650ish to spend. I have a 21" Wide Scren LCD, wireless keyboard and mouse. SO I need just a tower or laptop!

Here are my choices:

never ever ever ever buy a dell laptop... look up the lundell settlement and you will see y. go back read my post about dell... after paying 2000 dollars and probably over 1000 dollars for parts and tech support im left with a 3000dollar paper weight to hell with dell.

i know have a sony vaio.

edit... if you do get a dell get the desktop so you can fix shit when it breaks lol

if u want a desktop i can buy you a damn good one for the price.. i build them myself.. i built this one.. nothing big 300$ i got a damn good computer..

I'd actually recommend a step back a lil... I've seen some fully loaded IBM/ Lenova laptops with XP Pro going for far less than what you're looking to spend.

Best Buy is going to have at least 20 laptops with a bundled printer for $230 Friday.

yeah im gettin excited for friday! i might get an ipod... depending on how cheap they are... but im definitley getting clothes/shoes / some christmas stuff. cant beat those dman black friday sales!

ipods really dont drop prices becaue the store has a deal with apple to sell their product it can never really go on sale.. thats why u see like sony or ipod that u buy come wiht 50giftcards to circuit city or bestbuy or w.e
