im trying to instal a pioneer avic n3 into my chevy silverado its a 2005 z71, i have everything in but dont know where to hook up the parking brake wire there was one wire on a switch the is hooked to the parking brake so i hooked it there and it doesnt work, i also cant figure out where to hook up the speed control wire i hooked it into the computer on a green wire that is supposed to be the speed control but i guess its wrong, anyone know where im going wrong

You generally have to apply the parking brake a few times to allow the screen to function.

ive tried applying and taking the parking brake off and it doesnt work, the alarm will sound as soon as i put it in gear even if the monitor is in

this hu doesnt have a remote its all touch screen, i can buy a programable one for it off ebay but rather not, i think ill have the parking brake wire solved once i get the bypass for it, its mainly the speed wire that im lost on now, and the part of not getting sound through the subs, i had the subs tested and they are fine and all the rca cables checked out, the amps have pink noise to test thereselves they checked out all the speaker wires are hooked correctly the sub setting is turned on on the hu, im completley lost on that and the speed wire, im trying to contact pioneer about that but there turning to be no help
