Okay so i'm looking to get a smartphone here soon. I basically want internet access, music, and a nice calendar/schedule thing. I"m going to try and actually do all my homework at school this semester :P. Anyway, just wondering if anyone has experience with the Q, since its my top choice. my alltel store sells a treo that i like more, but its too thick, and i can't justify having that monster in my pocket while in my work.

Its ok my Mother had the q cept it was the Q on steroids version... It was a nice phone but to be honest with you there really isnt any smart phone out there that is worth it... Really the best phone that ive seen with the most intelligent set up is actualyl the LG EnV.. Besides that Blackberrys are still king.

i have the moto Q black with verizon service.. its a great toy to have.. having internet access 24/7 is beautiful.. its hard to imagine not having it at my fingertips. the pricing is a bit steep with verizon for data(phone is almost pointless without data). its an extra 45 on top of your existing plan, unless u change to a data and voice plan, which im not sure of how much they cost.
overall, i would wait for the new Q to come out, which is the moto q9h which is avail on the at&t networks or the q9m on the verizon/sprint networks.

i have alltel and don't plan on switching to another provider... so i'll probably just stick to the current Q unless it comes out for alltel.

I have alltel as well here in Ohio and the cheapest plan I believe is $80-90 a month due to it being a smartphone. I have the pocket pc starcom 6700 (the treo phone I believe) and it is thick. I would go with the Q, but also heard the Q freezes alot.

It does...^^^ My mother had the Treo b4 that and she loved it and now she has the switchback or something like that... All i can say is she gets a new phone every couple months for her company... The data is rediculous though she recieves her Emails all the time and can make calls pretty much anywhere in the world
My mistake its not a Switchback... its this thing...
