Stereo Install 2007 Grand prix GT, Void Warrenty?

I still have the manufacturers warrenty and I bought a 7 year warrenty for 2000 bucks. One thing that it covers is electrical. Do you guys think It would void the warrenty to install a new system. Also do you guys have any guides how to do it. There is probably a harness to run the stock deck back to the trunk or somthin huh?

If your looking to just through a lil bass package in it, then just get a Trunkloc from PAC to give you the rca preouts and remote wire turn on...
Vehicle warranties are funny things (I used to be a car dealer by the way), although they don't want you to know this, your entire electrical system will not be voided out just by upgrading your factory head unit, speakers, and adding sub/ amp... The only thing it voids is the warranty on the radio.
Now if you start messing around an alternator swap/ more batteries for more power then it probably will void out the electrical warranty.
Kinda like the difference in if you just add an intake kit to your car (just effects the intake warranty) versus puting a turbo package on that would void the entire drivetrain warranty.
On the up side... If you buy stereo equipment through an authorized dealer the new equipment is covered under it's own warranty.

no, they make harnesses with electronic modules that mimic the factory radio.

Cargodz is right on the money. Some dealers will try to tell you that upgrading your stereo voids the electrical, installing a cold-air intake voids the engine, etc...
However, they're wrong. You're protected by an item called the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (look it up on Wikipedia). Essentially, it states that if a dealer / manufacturer wants to void your warranty for alterations, they must PROVE that it was your alteration that caused the problem before denying your claim.

And in many cases if you have items installed by authorized dealers of said products, it still doesn't void your warranty... since many dealers have many items put on vehicles before or after sale from aftermarket dealers... Ever heard of a dealer option like say a remote control starter... Those get done by local shops that have accounts with the dealer(s) and it's covered under the factory warranty

wow warrenty's (sp) are kinda gay. If i put a CAI on and something breaks that has to do with the intake ill have all kinds of trouble getting it fixed

It would just have to do with the factory intake that you replaced, not the entire intake manifold... although if you have problems with the throttle body, you may end up in an arguement with the service rep at the dealership over it.
