To enclose 6x8's in the rear deck.
I've seen everything from an all out box, to telpaware(was odd I know.)

The easiest. Don't install them.
Especially not ovals. if your hell bent on running rears use a set of 6.5s or so x-over for mid bass.

Why do you even want to have 6x8"s back there? It doesn't do anything for the sound quality... If anything, put a decent set of 6" midbass back there and just concentrate on your front stage.

Mmm wish i would have known that 2 months ago when i installed them.
I put 6x8's in my 2 doors and my rear deck. But maybe i'll get some 6.5's or 6's with my graduation money.
Pretty much I was just looking at crutchfield and it said 6x8's fit in both the doors and rear deck so I just got those.
But since they do give a weird sound to the bass, should I just unhook them for now?

would definately recommend unhooking them for now... And save up for a decent set of 5.25" components for the front and just make an adapter (mdf) to fit them to the existing 6x8" holes for the front, then amp those... I know you're thinkin "You want me to put in a smaller speaker?" and the answer is YES... For the reason that you will get a far better sound out of a round speaker and you will be able to put the tweeters where you like for staging
