im building a ported box and i want it to have 2 tuning frequencies.
its for a 10 and so far ive decided to do 2 ports 3 inches wide and 13.5 long. which will give me close to 28 and 40 depending on if i use 1 or both ports. i was wondering if anyone knows if port noise is going to be much of a problem this way or if there is a better way to do this other. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

that wont work. unelss you block one of the ports. the best way to do multiple tunings is to use aero ports and just get 2 sets swap them out when you want.

I remember seeing a setup one guy on eCoustics did. He made his port removable with T nuts or something similar. That way, he could unscrew it and put a new one on depending if he was competing or daily driving.

Yeah the price for aero ports on parts express is pretty good. Not as cheap as dealer pricing, but pretty darn hard to beat.
