Does anyone know the wiring configuration on these.
When I first got them I had a pyramid amp, and when i wired them the suggested way the amp would go into protection the second it was turned on.
But now I have a newer amp that should be able to handle it. I think the sub is a 4 ohm sub but last time i checked the website does not say.
Thank You.

If they are Dual Voice Coil... They are dual 4 ohm
If they are Single Voice Coil ... They are single 4 ohm
What amp have you got now? and are they the Single or Dual voice coils?
Kinda need to know that before we go giving suggestions on how to wire them up.

if your amp is 1 ohm stable wire both subs in parallel to 2 ohm and then parralell the pair together for a 1 ohm load.

You could run them 1 or 4, I'd say go with 1 since you'd be underpowering the subs at 4.
