And everything comes to a halt again

Well, once again, just as I start to get things squared away and into a position to put a system in my car, something happens.

Once again, the Jaguar needs maintenance. So far the bill is only at $600. But by Tuesday, who knows. I'm sure it's going to go up. The shop that's working on it might not be able to fix everything, and I might end up having to take it to the dealership anyway.

I hate this car.

Sorry, I just needed to vent.

Those cars always sounded expensive to maintain, especially the older models.

The reason I'm not selling it just yet is that when I do, I'll have to find something else to replace it for the wife, and she loves the damn thing. It's a 2000 S-type 3.0. I'm hoping the shop it's at can fix it without raping me. My plan is to pay it down a bit more, then sell it or trade it in. She says she likes the Nissan Murano (sp?) That crossover vehicle they've got. That's really my biggest problem, it has to be replaced. Unless ....

That's how we keep feeling about this one. We love it when we're not having to fix it. When repairs come around, we curse the hell out of it and talk about selling it. Then we fix it and decide to hold out a while longer. Damn POS!

Well if you do decide to trade it in the Murano is a great choice... I say that from knowing 2 people with them and they love the hell out of em, that tied in with the fact that most Nissans are very reliable... My daughter has had her 98 Sentra for almost 6 years now and the worst problem she's had so far is that she had to have the wiper motor replaced... She's also driven it to Florida from Ohio 3 times and commutes 40-50 minutes everyday.

Trade in value of the Jag looks to be around $8k. I should be able to get about $10k if I sell it outright. That vehicross is awesome, I think. My wife doesn't like it though. :( She's pretty much got her heart set on the Murano. She also had her heart set on the Jag two years ago. That's how that goes.
