New Build Help

Hello, I am relatively new to this forum. I have been doing some research and am pretty much set up on a build. Now before you read the parts list know this: I am 16 with a 1995 K1500 Extended Cab and want to bump down the street.

Subs: Kicker Slo Baric L7 12" 2ohm
Amp: Kicker ZX1500.1
CD Deck: Alpine CDA-9883 with iPod Cable (KCE-422i)

I will be purchasing the box off eBay. I would like it ported but I have a feeling it wont fit in the back seat of the truck. The problem I run into is choosing the speakers. Since I have an extended cab, it has 2 more speakers in the back(4x6) which I plan to upgrade later on down the road. But I would really like to upgrade the speakers in the front(6.5"). I was thinking something by Alpine, but I am unsure. What do y'all recomend and feel free to comment on the build so far. Thank you :D

I thought of that thread the second I read this ;)
And rather than buying an enclosure off of ebay... you may want to take into serious consideration of building one yourself (or have one built for you). This way you know that it will fit and also that it is set up to perform specifically for your sub... Half the problems that people have with their system not sounding as well as they would like is that the box is all wrong for the sub... Check with Ryan from Ohio on having a box built for you or Bill (Bwcad1) if he has the time.

Ok, I'll take all y'alls advice and forgo the 4x6's in the back. What would be some good speakers and tweets to go with the setup? I would prefer something on the lower price side if possible. Also what are some good brands when it comes to speakers?

EDIT: Also, Do y'all recommend an amp for the speakers?

LOL, bet you all know what post that us.

Look that thread over, and it will help point you i n the right direction. As for speakers, the best way to pick them out is by listening to them, and seeing what you like.

Hifonics components are pretty good and you can get them pretty cheap off of Ebay. I beleive all together I got Hifonics 5.25 Zues comps. off of Ebay for $49.

Im gonna head to the store monday to listen to more products. I'll try out some hifonics. Now about the subs and amp, do you think this is a good choice? I listened to them in a similar truck and it created a lot of pressure. Are there any subs and and amps I should take a look at, because the kicker l7's and ZX1500.1 are the only things I have listened to.
