just giving you a warning just in case. if you feel the need to address me both publicly and privately then continue to do so. i have no problem with it. what you dont realize is that we have people all the time post dig old posts and post 3 word answers like you have done just to sell stuff. all i did was warn you about that. if you not trying to sell something terrific welcome to the board.

Brake squeeling thread 4 weeks old(now granted this one is very old however since I had experience with the same issue I thought I would add it. Plus my post provided more insight into the issue)

Now I'm sure we can agree I didn't as you assert add a 2 word answer to weeks old threads. That is inaccurate. If thread digging is such an issue then mabe the board sould have some protection against those kinds of activities. Or maybe your PM could have been asking a question instead of making an accusation. Sorry for the double contact(thread and email) but I was a little ticked at your accusation.

We have a problem around here with people digging up posts just to meet the 10 post minimum to post a topic in the for sale section.

Usually they will rattle off 10 posts as quick as possible, post the for sale thread and are gone.

CAC is a little different than most boards. As you can see our members take an active role here. Sorry if Bill offended you, but I assure you he had good intentions, maybe just not worded in the best manner. I for one, do this quite often- then it gets taken out of context and blows up.

Thanks Ryan. Just a suggestion but maybe a less easily attainable number of posts is the answer. I doubt anyone would rattle off 25 or 50 posts to sell something. Either way I just want to be a contributing member and I promise I won't try to sell a thing.

Some people just get annoyed when someone signs up just to list an item and never return. So a 10 post minimum went into affect before you can start a topic in there. So it just in turn creates another issue...

Well if all of what you wrote is indeed sure I am sure this is not the finest example of that. This post is very adult, laid back and intellegent*insert sarcasm smiley*. Kudos.
