Where to get an amplifier bench tested

Anybody know, or had this done? I searched the forum and didn't find anything.
I would imagine most shops don't have the massive DC power supply necessary to do this. I have searched online but found nothing. I'm thinking maybe one of those amp repair places may be able to do it?
I would do it myself if I could get a hold of a 12 volt DC power supply capable of 400+ amps...... I have a scope and I'm pretty sure I could get some big resistors of the proper value.

Most of the shops I have dealt with have a bench they can put it on. It doesn't take anything fancy, unless you want specs. If you just want to know if it works, you could do it yourself in a couple of mins.

Yeah, I'm looking to get the actual output power tested. I guess I should have made that more clear......
I would think most shops would have like a 50 amp or so power supply just for testing if amps work, but I don't know if they would have the equipment needed to test how much power the amp is capable of?

So how do you test to see if an amp works without having a set-up in your vehicle? I guess you could use your car battery for the positive and ground it but what do you hook the REM wire up too?

Well let me toss this at you.
Why not take an extension cord. Hook your amp up in the car as you would. Use the extension cord for your O Scope.
Unless you dont have a sub or stuff in your car yet?

That's a good idea and I though about it, but according to Bcae1 the test can't be done with speakers instead of resistors...... so I would still need a set of high power resistors (dummy load).
I suppose I could try and do that, but it would be easier if I could just find someplace that does it.
Of course, I wouldn't need to do any of this is somebody knows how much power an American Bass VFL 200.1 does on 12 volts...... I've been finding varying info online.
